Yoga's Pace

Sometimes messages from the universe pop up at me at the most opportune moment. They are messages that are completely relevant to the moment, the thoughts and emotions I am experiencing or even situations that I might find myself in, that are uncomfortable.

On one such occasion, I came across a lovely deck of cards in a crystal shop with a very attractively painted card right on the top of the deck. My curiosity was aroused and I picked up that card to find a lovely message on it, which I am re-writing now in my own words:

See the good in everything: just for today, determine to see the positive in everything and everyone that you encounter. Just for today, appreciate the beauty in all that you see. Just for today, accept the miracle of life and let go of grievances.

I walked away from that store struck by the import of that message. I was struck by the miracle that brought it before my eyes just when I needed to read it.

I remember thinking then that Life is a miracle. All I have to do is learn to go with the flow and experience that miracle from one moment into the next.
